Fundamental understanding of physics of structure and its implications for architectural design: materials and their nature, types of forces, various structural types, building load components, the strength and failure of structure; investigating forms and structures of nature and their application to architectural space and design; analysis of structural design of different types of buildings to understand the relationship between space, form and structure; structural modeling, simulation and drawings.
